There was no link identified between medication the mothers were taking and the
development of hydrocephalus.

Less than 30% of the respondents with congenital Hydrocephalus reported that their
mothers had been taking medication of any type during the pregnancy.

The only medication that was common with any of the mothers in this group was vitamins
which was reported in 8% of cases.
