Medication During Pregnancy and Hydrocephalus

• There was no link identified between medication the mothers were taking and the development of hydrocephalus.
• Less than 30% of the respondents with congenital Hydrocephalus reported that their mothers had been taking medication of any type during the pregnancy.
• The only medication that was common with any of the mothers in this group was vitamins which was reported in 8% of cases.
